Youngest to Oldest Cousins Visited

This is Andrew.

I visited Nick at the zoo. I didn't want to leave. We saw the Komodo dragon and it stuck its tongue out at me. Nick liked the python.

Then I went and had dinner with Rachel. We talked about her job and camping.

Salmon La Sac with Cernas/Sarah/Parents

Hope the Olsons took pictures because I heard they had a great time too!

Katie Can't Be 18!! Happy Birthday Katie!

Here is little K, showing us that she can fit in a beach chair without touching the sides. Rachel is holding Katie's doll (can't remember the name). Ryan and Rachel are showing us how to sit with knocked knees.
Down below, Katie is lost in thought, wondering when her mom will learn to do her hair.

Happy Birthday Katie!

Hiking with the Olsons

My first time up Mt. Pilchuck.  Great hike with Daniel, Andrew, and John.  Daniel and Andrew are excellent hikers---Daniel drove all the way home, and Andrew slept.

Also, Happy Birthday, Darcy!  Thanks for a fun night!

The Family Cold

Hope more of you don't end up with this viral bronchitis that I have but if you do...

Here is some ideas to help:

Drink a ton of water. I mean a ton. It won't seem to matter until day 5 but it matters.

Gargle with salt water. It helps the weird scratchy throat that accompanies the cold.

Get a good expectorant and don't use antihistamines.

The tiredness is a two day affair at least.

The cough is just plain deep in your chest and sounds like heck but weirdly you don't feel that bad unless you are Mike and got the body aches as well.

Milk the sympathy factor. It got me out of doing the dishes at Cle Elum.

Any hints from the fam who have had it?

Welcome Baby Roman!!
