These are Buckyballs....they are named after American architect R. Buckminister Fuller who designed a geodesic dome with the same fundamental symmetry. People love them!

Thanks John, Mike, Joe, Dad, Daniel, Andrew and Mom for all your help!!!  (and ruth/natalie).  I really appreciate your efforts to turn my backyard into a beautiful space.  Raccoon netting is down, so I'm hoping there won't be too much disturbance before it takes root.  (A couple of weeks?).
