The memorial day services which Dad was in charge of (dangling participle) went beautifully. It lasted onehalf hour, great speech by Gene Sharratt, and Leona's granddaughter sang "american tears" excellent. About 60 people showed, not a huge crowd but certainly respectable for the weather, no rain or wind however. Dad did a terrific job, thanks to Sarah for the program which the two of them did on the computer. We have copies. We are in White Pass until Thurs. you can reach us at the school, or the Hampton House B and B.

Family, I have reserved a room on the Best
Western in Lake Chelan for the Tolos and us, for
July 14 and July 15. Anyone wishing to join us, the rate is $172
plus tax. Maybe two families can share a room.

Sarah helped us do the graves yesterday. We are so grateful. She had us sign some papers that will simplify or old age...thanks Sarah. I kow you said not to tell the others but we are so grateful.

Katie's graduation is Thursday, June 10 at 7 p.m. at the White River Amphitheater. Formal announcements are on the way. It's a weeknight so we realize it will be tricky for some of you working folks to attend but we've got plenty of room for you to spend the night if you'd like. Free cat!

A beautiful grey cat camped out on our side deck for three days before I broke down and fed him. After a few lost cat signs were placed, he's still there. I'll bet someone who has a birthday or a mother's day coming up would LOVE this striking beast. Let us know and we'll bring him to John's.
