Not pictured: the plaintive look back at me when he had to go get in line and walk into the classroom with just his classmates while the parents hung back. I'm only half kidding when I say it reminded me of D-Day.

we remember those first days...usually sending you kids off in really hot sweaters in 90 degrees.
The classroom looks so nice and big and not crowded. How was Darcy's first day? Did she give you a plaintive look?

He looks soo old!! I can't believe he is in kindergarten!! We did wear sweaters in hot weather, but we looked great!!!
